INEX TECHNOLOGIES Support Services
INEX TECHNOLOGIES offers a full range of technical support services insuring our global network of dealers/system integrators have the most comprehensive product information available. INEX support services are focused on providing the highest level of direct engineering support for installing, maintaining and upgrading all INEX (ALPR) automatic license plate recognition systems. INEX products are designed as “universal” platforms and backward compatibility is always an important design considerations behind our state of the art ALPR systems.
Standard Product Warranty
INEX products are covered by a one year parts and labor warranty which starts from the date of INEX invoice. Software support is included into general software license fee and is free for the first year of ownership. Software updates for the Insignia OCR recognition engine are included in software support as new /revised license plate becomes available.
Extended Product Warranty
An extended warranty with the same terms and conditions of our standard products warranty can be purchased prior to INEX product delivery in increments of 1-5 additional years. Pricing is per product sold and generally is a fractional percentage of the original hardware/software reseller purchase price.
Extended Software Support Program
INEX TECHNOLOGIES offers optional extended software support that provides a continuation of first year software support services. The Extended Software Program includes:
- ALPR Insignia software license management and support
- Explanation of software configuration and functionality
- Assistance in software application client interfacing to meet specific business needs
- Assistance in network IT troubleshooting
- Syntax and license plate font upgrades as new plate information becomes available by reporting agencies
- Access to Insignia OCR engine software system releases quarterly
- Recognition library ZRL tuning as needed for license plate recognition
- Upgrades to INEX client interface applications as new client software is released
Standard INEX TECHNOLOGIES support services are available Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 6:00PM ET (GMT -5). INEX TECHNOLOGIES support can be reached via phone, fax or email. It is strongly suggested our integrator partners book a time slot in advance for all support services. Critical customer 24/7 hour global support pricing including hot stand product replacement is available on request.
On-site Optimization and Final Connect
On site INEX engineering is available to assist our integrators with IT networking, final system connection and optimization of all fixed, mobile and client interfaced systems. Pricing is per man day with travel/expenses waived after three days on site.
A&E Consultant Support
INEX provides a comprehensive set of A&E Consultant product performance specifications for all products delivered from our factory. Documents are in a word document format permitting specifying engineers to accurately cut and paste specification line items to meet end user requirements, deployment scenarios and/or engineering considerations. Typical A&E Package includes INEX product pricing, model numbers, shipping weights, dimensions, performance specifications, product photos and/or line diagrams, if applicable.
INEX technical support services conducts no charge web seminars tailored to specific groups of potential ALPR users, such as A&E consultants, government agencies, and global enterprise customers (to name a few) . Topics may include ALPR theory, global plate reading challenges ,why/how it works, system configuration, IT networking, interfacing to partner client systems including video management, access control, tolling or parking revenue control systems. Seminars can be conducted in a variety of languages if required.
Train the Trainers Program
INEX recognizes the key to all successful global ALPR deployments is successfully communicating directly to the system operator operating system parameters including providing the end user with detailed (GUI) graphic user interface functionality, as it applies to our products and intended applications. We believe in working closely with all of our client interfaced partners to provide necessary third party client training of how our ALPR data is displayed on their respective system. All train the trainer programs can be modified to meet the specific agenda of an end user.
Obtaining IT clearances.
Our IT support services will support our integrator to insure our software is in compliance with various global military, government and other agency secure IT systems. A listing of compliance certifications and or clearances is available to qualified inquirers.
ALPR system design and configuration
Working closely with our reselling partners INEX can provide an accurate equipment listing of products configured to meet most vehicle recognition requirements of the end user. A typical INEX registered quotation includes, firm pricing, drawings, specifications, and other technical materials as needed. Completing this document insures the very best value in providing a complete ALPR system for your customer. INEX engineers will then quantify your requirements/expetations for a ALPR successful deployment.
Federal and Local Agency bid response packages
Full RFI/RFQ and design build response packages including developing ALPR product compliance matrixes, technical review, best practices, exceptions taken, proper product selection, and comprehensive bid review. The primary objective of all bid response packages is the timely review and turnaround of materials received with the goal of support for our integrators to become successful.
